Before you shrivel up, like a prune.

Tucked away in a small, brightly-lit store front in NYC’s cozy West Village, lies all of your vegan skincare needs…
It’s no secret that by CHLOE. has been a fan of CAP Beauty for a while (see our Q&A with the founders Kerrilynn Pamer and Cindy DiPrima Morisse here). But even if we wanted to, we just can’t get enough of their seemingly magical skincare solutions. If you’re like us, it’s easy to abuse your skin in December. It’s officially Winter and with the cold, our skin drys-out and we start to itch, crack and peel (OUCH & EW). Paired with the influx of sugar from holiday sweets and alcohol from endless parties (it’s hard to decline…every heard of FOMO?!) problematic skin seems inevitable.
TWIST MY ARM! We decided to take a trip back to CAP. Our favorite GENIUS esthetician, Amity Speigel is known for her treatments that soothe and re-balance troubled skin. A 60 minute facial that cleanses, exfoliates, massages and nourishes is a perfect way to de-stress and strengthen your skin throughout the crazy holiday season (yes, it also makes for an amazing GIFT!).
After an hour of complete bliss, Amity shared some of her favorite must-have VEGAN skin care products, perfect to ease a grueling winter ahead! Other tips for glowing skin? Amity recommends avoiding foods containing gluten, dairy, processed foods and sugar (if you’re vegan, you are already a step ahead of the game!). Also, save the picking and popping for you esthetician. Torturing your pores in front of a magnifying mirror can lead to scars and bacteria build-up. Not cute!
Amity’s Winter Remedies:
Purity & Grace for an oil based cleanser that pure, gentle, and full of high vibrations.
Soothing B3 Serum for a hydrating and calming solution to agitated skin. It protects and pumps up skin for a beautiful glow.
Dr. Alkaitis Organic Ageless Facial Elixir for a restorative, hydrating and anti-aging serum full of antioxidants.
Axiology Lipstick for the glamorous, plump lips you need throughout your busy holiday social calendar. Avocado oil and avocado butter hydrate and heal. Bring on the mistletoe!
