Super Green Smoothie Bowl

Are you the type of person that uses your kitchen cabinets for shoe storage? Don’t know how to work your oven? Does “cooking” to you mean assembling cheese platters, and microwaving last night’s restaurant left-overs? Either you know this person, or you are this person. The simple truth is, not all of us were born to be chefs…AND IT’S OKAY!

The beauty of this Super Green Smoothie Bowl is that you can be completely untalented in everything kitchen-related in order to make it. We’re even telling you to use a pre-made juice as the liquid base. Some might call it “cutting corners,” others might call it “genius.”

Recipe Courtesy of our friends at PRESS London.

1, 300ml bottle of a green, cold-pressed juice. We like Greenhouse 1 from PRESS London (with kale, spinach, celery, romaine, cucumber, ginger, lemon) or The Giving Tree Juice from by CHLOE. (with kale, spinach, wheatgrass, apple and lemon).

½ avocado, frozen

2 Tbsp almond butter

1 scoop pea protein (we like PRESS London Pea Protein)

2 Tbsp flax seeds

1 kiwi, sliced

coconut flakes

pomegranate seeds

Peel avocado and slice in half. Freeze overnight.

Slice kiwi.

Place cold-pressed juice, frozen avocado, almond butter, pea protein and flax seeds in a high-speed blender.

Blend until smooth.

Transfer into a bowl or glass.

Garnish with sliced kiwi, pomegranate seeds and dried coconut flakes, to taste.

Serve immediately, or keep chilled overnight.
