Ever wake up and crave a big ol’ slice of apple pie first thing in the morning? No? Just us?
We doubt we’re alone in our round-the-clock apple pie obsession this time of year, and we’re definitely not ones to deny a craving. That being said, we have our health and our bodies to maintain, so there needs to be some semblance of balance involved, right? We’re drooling over this Apple Pie Smoothie because it combines the best of both worlds – the delectable fall dessert flavors that have been on our minds 24/7, but a list of ingredients you can feel really good about.

2 apples, peeled, cored and cut into chunks
1 (6 oz) container vegan vanilla yogurt
1 cup ice
¾ cup unsweetened non-dairy milk
¼ cup rolled oats
2 Tbsp almond butter
1 tsp chia seeds
2 pitted dates
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
ground cinnamon, to taste
sea salt, to taste
Peel, core and cut the apples into chunks.
Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend on high until completely smooth, about 1 minute.
Pour into two tall glasses and serve immediately.
Garnish with sea salt and ground cinnamon, to taste.
Slice an apple wedge and secure it to the rim of the glass.
STORAGE + NOTES
Apple Pie Smoothie will keep in a sealed mason jar in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
