We’re celebrating Earth Day all month long with this delicious Chocolate Donut with Chocolate Ganache. It get’s sweeter! We’re donating 50% of the purchase price from each donut sold to the International Fund for Animal WelfareIFAW works to eliminate poaching networks, rescues and rehabilitates animals to be released back into the wild, assists in on-the-ground relief efforts during disasters, and advocates for policies and research that benefit all wildlife.

Helping the planet never tasted so good….


5 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

3 cups organic sugar

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1 1/2 Tbsp baking soda

1 Tbsp sea salt

3 cups coconut milk

1 1/2 cups safflower oil

3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 1/2 Tbsp pure vanilla extract

extra virgin olive oil spray

Chocolate Ganache

1 cup chocolate chips

1/4 cup coconut milk

1 1/2 Tbsp safflower oil


Pre-heat oven to 325ºF.

CHOCOLATE Donut Batter

Combine all-purpose flour, organic sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and sea salt together in a bowl. Mix well.

In a separate bowl, combine coconut milk, safflower oil, apple cider vinegar and pure vanilla extract. Mix well.

Slowly pour wet ingredients into bowl with dry ingredients.


Spray donut-shaped mold (3.5 inch donut width) with extra virgin olive oil spray.

Fill each mold 3/4 of the way up with batter.


Place in oven and bake for 12 minutes.

Rotate and bake for an additional 12 minutes.

Set aside. Once cooled, remove donuts from molds.

Chocolate Ganache

Pour chocolate chips and coconut milk into a double-boiler and let chocolate melt.

Remove from heat and stir in safflower oil until consistency is smooth.


Once Chocolate Donuts are completely cooled, dip in warm Chocolate Ganache and sprinkle with a blend of green and blue nonpareils.


Chocolate Donuts with Chocolate Ganache can be stored at room-temperature for up to 3 days.
